This policy describes how personal data of users of the skinora.it website is collected, used, and protected, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian legislation.

2. DATA COLLECTED

  • Customer Account: First name, last name, email, and password (managed by the Shopify platform).

  • Orders and Billing: Shipping and billing addresses, telephone number, purchase history.

  • Payments: Managed exclusively by payment service providers via Shopify Payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, and UnionPay cards; Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay), PayPal, and Klarna. We do not store and do not have access to your full card details. If you choose to save your information for faster checkout by providing your phone number, you create a Shop account, which is subject to Shop’s terms and privacy policy.

  • Support: Content of your messages and any photos you send us. If you use the online withdrawal form: your name, email, order number, and optionally, company and items concerned, processed via the Revoq (EU Withdrawal Button) application.

  • Commercial Communications: Email address and preferences, if you check the box to receive our news and offers (at checkout or via the website's signup popup). Emails are sent via Shopify Messaging, Shopify's email tool.

  • Loyalty Program: If you participate in the "Rewards" program, managed via the Smile.io application, we process your email, name, points, rewards, and history related to the program.

  • Browsing: Essential technical data and, only depending on your cookie choices, statistical and advertising data (Section 8).

3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES

  • Management of orders, deliveries, withdrawals, returns, warranties, and support: Performance of a contract.

  • Accounting, tax, and administrative obligations: Legal obligation.

  • Fraud prevention and website security: Legitimate interest.

  • Management of the loyalty program (points and rewards): Performance of the loyalty program participation contract.

  • Newsletter and commercial communications: Consent (checkbox), revocable at any time.

  • Traffic statistics (Google Analytics) and website improvement: Consent.

  • Targeted advertising and conversion measurement (Google Ads): Consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, as simply as you gave it, without affecting processing operations already carried out.

4. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

To the extent necessary, your data may be disclosed to: Shopify (platform, store hosting, and email delivery via Shopify Messaging); Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Klarna (payment services); Smile.io (loyalty program management on our behalf); Revoq (online withdrawal form on our behalf); carriers GLS, Poste Italiane, TNT, DHL, DPD, and FedEx; Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads depending on your cookie choices, and Google Merchant Center for displaying our products); our advisors, accountant, and authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

Certain service providers (such as Shopify and Google) may process data in the United States. Transfers are based on the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, depending on the provider. You can request information about these safeguards at privacy@skinora.it.

6. RETENTION PERIODS

  • Customer Account: As long as it is active, then 3 years after the last interaction.

  • Orders and Billing: 10 years, for tax and civil obligations.

  • Analytical and Profiling Cookies: Maximum 13 months.

  • Commercial Communications: Until consent is withdrawn or 3 years of inactivity.

  • Loyalty Program: As long as you participate, then 3 years after the last interaction.

  • Support Messages: Duration of request handling, up to a maximum of 3 years.

Upon expiry, data is deleted or anonymized, except where a legal retention obligation applies.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, request its erasure, restrict its processing, object to it, obtain data portability, and withdraw your consent. You may object to direct marketing and commercial communications at any time (unsubscribe link in every email). To exercise your rights: privacy@skinora.it. If we have reasonable doubts concerning your identity, we may ask you to provide information to confirm it. We will respond within one month, extendable in cases provided for by the GDPR.

You can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, Rome, garanteprivacy.it). If you reside in another EU country, you can also contact your local national authority.

8. COOKIES AND TRACKERS

The website uses essential technical cookies (shopping cart, session, security, currency, and location), which do not require consent.

The following cookies are used only after your consent, expressed via the cookie banner:

  • Statistics: Google Analytics (website traffic measurement).

  • Advertising: Google Ads (advertising and conversion measurement).

Google Merchant Center is used to transmit our product feeds to Google to display them in its search results.

Refusing is as simple as accepting, and you can change your choice at any time from the website banner.

9. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The website uses HTTPS/TLS, access to data is restricted to authorized personnel, and account passwords are managed by the Shopify platform under its own security measures.

10. MINORS AND AMENDMENTS

The website is not intended for minors under 14 years of age without the consent of the holder of parental authority. We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page indicates the latest version.
